An Aluminum Cap Roof is a custom-fit roof replacement which is added over your existing roof. A wooden frame is built around the perimeter of your existing roof using 2"x4"s. An aluminum eave is placed over frame coming down 6" to create a new clean facia. 4 foot wide and 2 inch thick sheets of styrofoam insulation is laid over the entire roof. The .024 gauge Aluminum Roof Rolls are then rolled over the top of the roof. Screwed down every inch and sealed along the perimeter and around the vents. It provides low maintenance protection against leaks and adds insulation to help energy costs
